Alexander "Budd" Crabb, a 1939 graduate of Bellarmine College Preparatory, served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II. For his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star and an Air Medal. Other biographical details: Education: In addition to Bellarmine, Crabb was an alumnus of St. Patrick's Elementary School in San Jose and Santa Clara University, which he graduated from in 1947. Career and later life: He had a 37-year career with Chevron, which included 21 years working in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He returned to the Bay Area in 1968 and later to his hometown of San Jose. Death: Alexander "Budd" Crabb died in 2011.
